Mikki Sodergren

Prior to and during her appointment as Executive and Artistic Director, Mikki Sodergren continues an active career as a performer. She has joined the Full-Time Chorus Roster for theMetropolitan Opera beginning in the 22/23 season.

Sodergren has performed with symphonies around the country and world, including the Asheville Symphony, Jacksonville Symphony, Hilton Head Symphony, the Washington Bach Consort, the Tel Aviv Chamber Orchestra and many more. She has toured internationally with the lauded The English Concert, conducted by Harry Bicket, and has developed new musicals for Disney Theatricals, The National Theatre of Great Britain, and NYU, among others. Ms. Sodergren is the 2014 Winner of the American Traditions Vocal Competition.

Joseph Timmons

Joseph ‘Joey’ Timmons is a native of Waycross, GA and a proud graduate of the Armstrong Campus of Georgia Southern, from which he holds a B.A. in Music Composition.

Joey is a lover, proponent of, and composer of choral music, and has had his compositions performed by the Skidaway Island United Methodist Church Chancel Choir, the Armstrong Chorale, and a number of chamber ensembles. He is a brother of the Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia fraternity. Currently, Joseph is pursuing a graduate degree in Choral Conducting.

Zoey Preston

Social media manager

Zoey Preston is a copywriter and social media strategist based in the Bay Area. Her experience is varied, ranging from nonprofit arts organizations to top-tier tech companies. Zoey began her career as an opera singer, performing with many leading orchestras and opera companies including the New York Philharmonic and New York City Opera. She has interned at two top advertising agencies, highlights include her experience at Big Spaceship and various analytics teams.

With the help of her music background, Zoey runs and copywrites for several arts-based social media accounts, including those of the American Traditions Vocal Competition, Stratagem Artists, the San Francisco Conservatory, and the San Francisco Ballet. She currently works as a copywriter for LIFT Agency, helping to deliver creative customer growth for top brands like Spectrum, Frontpoint, ColorShop, Ipsy and more. Zoey holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music and a Master of Music degree from the Aaron Copland School of Music.
